The main purpose of the study was to assess the prevalence of COVID-19, to determine its territorial features based on the frequency of detection of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in children as an indicator group of the adult population. The survey of children with disabilities was aimed at clarifying several important points, namely: identifying the correlation between
asymptomatic and clinically manifested forms of COVID-19, the peculiarities of patients' seeking medical care (for example, self-referral for examinations), laboratory tests to confirm the clinical diagnosis, etc. It was also planned to investigate the relationship between the official incidence of COVID-19 and the frequency of detection of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 and to assess the rate of spread of the infection by comparing the detection of antibodies to SARSCoV-2 in different periods of time
