According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (USA), more than 35 million people worldwide suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome. A lot of experts consider it a disease, but since May 2019, the WHO has utilized this term exclusively in workrelated cases; thus, burnout is classified as a syndrome. Symptoms of this syndrome affect both our health and life, our attention span decreases, our relationships with others worsen, conflicts arise more often, our life satisfaction decreases.
