The article has theoretically substantiated the importance of pedagogical practice as a means of effective professional training of future educators to ensure the educational process of persons with speech disorders in the conditions of preschool education institutions. The concepts of «pedagogical practice» and «professional competence of future educators» are considered. It has been noted that in the process of studying in institutions of higher education, future educators acquire theoretical knowledge of the disciplines of professional training and practically consolidate the skills of the studied disciplines, which improves the effectiveness of the professional activities of future educators with preschoolers with speech disorders in preschool education institutions in modern conditions. This is due to the need for practical training of future educators to ensure the educational process of persons with special educational needs in preschool education institutions as one of the important components of professional competence
