The article highlights the importance of integrating STREAM-education (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) into preschool education for the development of constructive modeling skills in children of the older preschool age. Research and analysis of constructive modeling skills in children underscore their significance for future success and development in contemporary society. The article provides a definition of STREAM-education and its role in modern education. It describes the advantage of implementing the STREAM approach at the preschool education stage, where the foundations of a child's development are formed. Specifically, the article explores the impact of STREAM-education on the formation of constructive modeling skills, fostering spatial thinking, logic, creativity, and other essential aspects. The issue of integrating STREAM-education into preschool education to develop constructive modeling skills is examined. The research of prominent scholars studying this issue is analyzed, providing grounds for the implementation of the STREAM-approach in preschool education. Successful programs and practices that integrate STREAM-education into preschool education and contribute to the development of constructive modeling skills are presented. The role of educators in implementing the STREAM-approach and their contribution to the development of older preschool children is discussed.
